  • 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce (if using), rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Arrange the Chicken:
