Chocolate and Malteser Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Maltesers (or Whoppers), crushed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan

    • Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  2. Melt the Chocolate Mixture

    • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
    • Add the milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Add Vanilla Extract

    • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  4. Fold in the Maltesers

    • Gently fold in the crushed Maltesers, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the fudge mixture.
  5. Transfer to the Pan

    • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  6. Chill and Set

    • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3 hours, or until it has completely set and hardened.
  7. Cut and Serve

    • Once the fudge is firm, cut it into squares or rectangles.

Tips:

  • To crush the Maltesers, place them in a ziplock bag and gently crush with a rolling pin for large chunks or a few pulses in a food processor for smaller bits.
  • You can store the fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Enjoy your delicious, creamy chocolate and Malteser fudge! 🍫🍬
